An entertaining end to the year for the Mental Health and Youth teams

This week, the Mental Health team and Youth team organised a party for the people we support to celebrate their end of year.

Picnic rugs and giant lawn games were thrown out across the lush green grass of Woodbridge Riverside Park, as almost 60 people found space among the shady trees to enjoy the entertainment.

Drag Queen Liberty Genre performed a few lip synch numbers in her gorgeous sparkling dress (how she managed to dance in heels, on grass, is still a mystery!), and local musician Bailey McLaughlin performed a mix of acoustic covers and originals from his band Pocketwatch.

Some great prizes were given out as the raffle was drawn, and everyone chowed down on some delicious burgers courtesy of That Food Truck. Looking at the smiles across everyone’s faces, there was no doubt everyone had a great time.

Shout out to the Mental Health and Youth teams for putting on such a fun event – cheers to 2022!
