This annual award was announced in 2016 to honour the memory of former Chairperson Anna Alderson who lived and breathed Rise’s values of:
- integrity
- respect
- welcoming
- optimism
We are looking for worthy candidates who demonstrate one or more of the above values. Submissions will be judged by the Board and the winners announced at the end of year staff event. One individual and one team nomination will each be awarded a $500 gift voucher. (The team award ($500) will be distributed evenly amongst members or as agreed by the team).
Last year we saw 16 individuals and 1 team nominated and recognised at the end of year event by their Rise peers and Board members. Peta Rule, Alf Lay and Helen Dymond were in attendance and presented nominees with a certificate before announcing the winners as Carmen Watene and Charlene Fernandez.
