Yirra Mia aimed to make ANZAC week a special and meaningful one this year.
We held a short memorial service each day, where we all said a prayer to commemorate loved ones lost and heroic deeds of those who have serviced the country.
We also made ANZAC wreaths with rosemary and wrote special letters to the ANZACs/loved ones lost and made coloured wax seals, which were left as an offering at the memorial.
To end the day, we baked ANZAC biscuits in the centre for each of the clients to take home and enjoy.
