“After many years of having element heaters in winter and fans for summer, I finally have an air conditioner, thanks to my Rise support and the Independent Living Centre Equipment grant.
Due to my medical conditions, my feet used to swell up in the heat and the pain was unbearable. Now I am looking forward to summer and to be warm in winter was a dream of mine.
