Here are some awesome ideas for reinventing services:
A support worker was completing a shop by list service for a client last week. When she got to the shop, the support worker realised that she had left the list at the clients home and decided to video call her to ask what she needed. The client answered the call and was able to shop with the support worker, without leaving the comfort of her home. The client was extremely happy about this and felt like she had been on an outing but at the same time, remained safe in her home.

Today Lila turns 93 and she had been looking forward to celebrating with all her friends at the Yirra Mia Day Centre. With the new restrictions in place Lila thought that her birthday would be forgotten, but thanks to the replacement services and rescheduling of the day centre staff, Lila was able to blow out her candles at home with Deb Gregson, the day centre staff member she normally goes out with. Well done Deb. You certainly made Lila's day.
