Staff at Centenary House took the opportunity to celebrate the Horse's Birthday on Wednesday by feeding local horses carrots and cuddles.
Two of our Members have had wonderful experiences working with horses in the past. Growing up, both Ted and Russell rode horses. Ted was a very fine horseman in his day, he was the Inaugural president of the Swan View Horse & Pony Club. Ted organised the horse events at the Swan View Show, made the jumps and used to silk screen the ribbons at home.
Ted`s daughter Sue stated Ted was still positively glowing when she dropped by his house in the evening. Lots of wonderful memories for both Ted and Russell!
