On Sunday, 9th July 2023, the Fremantle Dockers with Purple Hands Foundation will be hosting the "Make Our Mark" Round 17 game against Carlton Blues. As part of this important occasion, we are organising the Hand in Hand - Crossing for Inclusion (Matagarup Bridge crossing)
, an event that aims to raise awareness and support for individuals with disabilities.
The Hand in Hand - Crossing for Inclusion
will involve a group of individuals with disabilities and their community footy clubs, their families, and community members crossing the iconic Matagrup Bridge, which leads to the Optus Oval, the home of AFL in WA. The purpose of this crossing is to represent the bridges we can build as a community to ensure that people with disabilities are included, supported, in all aspects of life, including footy, EVERYDAY.
We value your participation in Inclusion programs and, we kindly request your support for this event. Your endorsement, presence, and participation would significantly contribute to its success and help us spread the message of inclusivity to a wider audience.
Additionally, we are currently arranging tickets to the AFL game between Fremantle Dockers vs. Carlton match on Sunday, 9th July 2023. Fremantle Dockers FC will provide an additional allocation for a select players and teams to showcase their skills prior to and during ½ time with Optus Oval on field activations.
Each participant who registers and attends the Hand in Hand – Crossing for Inclusion on Sunday 9th
