Rise staff and volunteers came together from all over Perth to celebrate the year. The stunning Heath Ledger theatre was a fantastic venue to acknowledge the hard work of everyone in the Rise team who go above and beyond to support over 4000 people.

Congratulations to all our nominees for the Rise Anna Alderson Award. The award was given to Carmen Waten and Charlene Fernandez.
"Carmen demonstrates all of Rise's values on a daily basis. She is always the first person to offer assistance and is always positive in everything she undertakes. Her optimism shines through and leads to productive results."

Awesome Air Guitarists
Hypnotist Matt Hale wowed the audience and unleased the hidden talents of Rise staff who took to the stage. Gerry shredded his way to stardom with his amazing air guitar skills and showed he is a huge Taylor Swift fan. Danni was able to put people to sleep just by pointing her finger at them!
Celebrations continued outside as Perth's Pride Parade was in full swing. The streets were packed with thousands taking part in the festivities in support of equality, pride and self-expression.
