The team at Parkerville put on an amazing farewell celebration to thank Carmen Watene for her three years of dedication and care. Super support worker Scott set up "Bar-kerville" and gave lessons in making mocktails - this one was called the "Watene Bottom".
It was a wonderful turnout with residents and staff having a ball.
Deanna needed an afternoon snooze afterwards.
Thank you to everyone who made it such a special goodbye event, and thanks especially to Emilie for arranging, Scott for being the coolest bar tender ever, and to all those amazing staff who came on their day off to wish Carmen well.
