Where can you get your IWD ribbon?
Rise has ribbons at Helen's Place and Yirra Mia that can be purchased for $3 to show your support for International Women's Day (8th March). However, we hope you'll wear these on your lanyards loudly and proudly all year round. Men, women and people at Rise are encouraged to purchase a ribbon.
Who do the ribbons support?
The sale of these ribbons goes directly to UN Women Australia, and benefits UN Women's global programs to advance opportunities for women and girls to lead, and live a life free from violence and discrimination.
International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
