Goodbye Freddie – The Queen of the JibJab!

By Rise
26 October 2020

Freddie Povey, Rise’s Events and Communications Officer is leaving Rise to pursue some exciting new endeavours.

It’s likely everyone at Rise would have come across Freddie or her work at some point (without you even realising) - as she was the person behind the “Call Me Maybe” Jib Jab Videos + the competitions throughout COVID.

Or, if you’ve ever attended a Rise staff event over the last couple of years (like the amazing State Theatre get together and the ever competitive “team games” at Sandleford Winery).

Or, the epic volunteer video that was orchestrated and edited by Freddie.

In two years, she’s given above and beyond and been a fab member of the trio in our marketing sandwich.
We’ve been so lucky to have a team member on board with so much energy and enthusiasm, if you know Freddie her personality is infectious!

Although she will be a huge loss to Rise, we are excited for her new journey and looking forward to keeping in touch.

In the words of Freddie, “thanks a mil”.
