In the Company of horses hold regular daily morning teas. Participants can enjoy the company of horses whilst having morning tea within a peaceful setting in Bullsbrook. You can bring carrots to feed to the horses.
On Monday 31st August, two Rise friends Greg and Robert, visited the farm in Bullsbrook for a morning tea and to interact with the herd (Reggie, Millie, Samson, Syd and Foxy) The event is held daily for 1 hour 15 minutes. Greg and Robert were able to pat and stroke the horses, feed them, and truly connect during their visit.
Both participants thoroughly enjoyed the day and have asked to make this a monthly outing. Greg even asking if he could stay the night! It would be great to see more Rise participants enjoy this awesome experience.
The location is fully disability accessible. If you know of anyone who has a passion for horses, this is a great activity.
Bookings essential! Groups are limited to 4 people but they also do individual bookings. The cost is $15 per person with carers free. Includes hot drink and cake including for carers.
