Salary Details : S&CS Level 4 ($65,535 - $70,511 pa)
Location : Ferguson 4 (Midland)
Hours : Full-time
The House Senior role provides high quality support to the Senior Coordinator and is a point of contact during their absence to enable them to manage the daily operations of the house. This role mentors staff and provides an exceptional level of care to meet the needs of the people we support. The role also supports the development and maintenance of quality services in line with the organisation’s policies, working with existing budgets and resources.
About You
This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in the disability field. To be considered, you will have relevant qualifications such as the Certificate III in Community Services/Disability/Individualised Services or equivalent along with related experience. You will be the embodiment of our values, a team player, and prepared to take initiative and provide mentoring and extra support to staff as required. You will have a positive outlook and be understanding and knowledgeable about issues relating to disability and motivated to make a positive difference for people with disabilities.
You will also demonstrate:
- Experience in mentoring and supporting staff
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with families, advocates and others as required
- The ability to make a positive difference for people with disabilities
Appointments to this position will be subject to a current C class driver’s licence and a working with children check.
