Keeping busy at 70
On Monday 31st January, Robert Heron celebrated his 70th Birthday - but that didn’t stop him from working hard.
Robert likes to keep busy and volunteers his time two days a week at Hope Church in Northbridge, as well as assisting with paper shredding.
Robert waits patiently every day for the Coordinator and PWD Senior to bring him supplies.
What started as a chore to help out the house staff has now turned in to a full blown project.
All the paper that Robert shreds is donated to a local animal farm as bedding or their chooks.
If you would like to support Robert and have paper that needs shredding, please feel free to drop it off at Jingella House.
