The first Tuesday in November is a special time for all Australian race fans especially the group at the Wembley Social Centre. For Melbourne Cup the centre hosted a sumptuous lunch and sweepstakes followed by the screening of the big race. A fashion parade followed to show off the regalia that all the guests had worn for the big day. Everyone went home feeling like a winner on this great day.
