Morning Tea Goodbye

Our lovely Wahroonga Social Centre Volunteer, Cynthia, is moving on to be close to family. Cynthia has been with us for 14 years, starting as a Volunteer with Rise in 2006. In 2011, Cynthia happily transitioned to a staff position. In 2019, she decided to return to volunteering. Cynthia is well known for her gardening skills.  There have been many occasions where Wahroonga clients would visit her garden to enjoy the beautiful roses, ornamental trees and spring bulbs. Cynthia cared for the gardens at the centre as if they were her own, often doing mulch or tip runs in her own time.

Cynthia you will be missed.  You were as much a family to us as we were to you. We wish you much happiness and new beginnings. Enjoy your family and your new home with your gorgeous "Penny".
