PBS Team is Having a Good Time
There’s no stopping us now (gold star to anyone who can spot the song reference 😊)
The Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) team has been busy reaching a whole lot of milestones in 2023. So, where to start? The PBS caseload has now passed 50! That make us very happy that there are over 50 wonderful people that we are supporting towards an improved quality of life. The team has also completed extensive work on the PBS Project and have identified multiple areas of quality improvement for both the PBS Program and to support embedding Positive Behaviour Support into Rise services. Watch this space - there is lots to come.
Now to celebrate the individual achievements of the team.
Maria has received her confirmation from the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission of her suitability for registration as a Core Behaviour Support Practitioner - only took 9 months - but it’s finally official! Congratulations Maria!
Kellie has been working very hard and has just submitted her self-assessment for registration. Kellie is joining the team permanently on Monday 27 March as a Behaviour Support Practitioner. We are excited to be supporting Kellie into this role, another Rise Star!
I, Marg, have now achieved registration at a Behaviour Support Practitioner Proficient level with the Commission. This now enables me to be a greater support to the team and to also provide services within the sector to other Practitioners.
Please join me in offering your congratulations to the team.
This year has already seen the team come leaps and bounds... We intend to keep the pace up and continue to offer and provide quality behaviour support services to those in need.
If you have any direct questions relating to Positive Behaviour Support, what we do as a team of Practitioners or what we can do for your team, please feel free to reach out and get in touch. We are an excitable bunch and we love what we do!
