Peta Theunissen is today’s Anna Alderson Nominee!

Peta Theunissen is an enthusiastic and positive Team leader for her Support Workers in the East, fellow Team Leader colleagues and Line Managers. She cultivates a sense of making a difference in the community and optimism in the workplace.

Peta always acts with integrity and is respectful towards her support workers, colleagues and management. Peta is always welcoming, full of positivity and optimism. She suggests and implements changes in order for Rise to improve or streamline processes.

Recently Peta set up a display at South Metro Tafe to attract new applicants into the support worker role. The promotion was successful, resulting in candidates for interviews and onboarding.

I recently joined the team on secondment for 3 months where I was warmly welcomed and mentored by Peta. Even with her extremely busy and demanding role supporting over 40 + support workers, recruiting , interviewing, conducting inductions etc, Peta always made time to answer my many questions and assisted me with systems and processes.

Peta is very professional, personable, patient and holds the mutual respect of her colleagues. Peta champions the values of Rise being; Integrity- we do the right thing.
