The sponsorship crew
We are delighted to have Greg join the Rise Up and Celebrate committee as part of the Sponsorship Crew.
Greg has a very special mission - To go out in the community and spread the great stories about Rise, and to seek partnerships to sponsor the end of year party. Greg has been to many businesses in the Midland, Ellenbrook, Caversham and Beechboro areas telling people about how we are planning to celebrate our clients and staff with the best party ever!
Greg said “ At first I was shaking, and words wouldn’t come out of my mouth. I felt so nervous, then slowly I got very confident and felt happy and good”
Greg’s support worker said that Greg was very professional and really embraced this experience. He introduced himself and shook hands with the managers. He explained all about Rise and the preparations for the End of Year Party.
Greg confessed “ I used to be very quiet and wouldn’t say a word. But now I am feeling good, and it has boosted my confidence to talk to people.”
