Kimberley James is an incredibly talented artist who has been a long term residence at one of Rise’s Supported Accomodation homes in Beechboro and has been coming to the Arts Hub for four years. Kim attends three days a week and spends one day in the wood burning room and the other two days in the pottery room. Kim struggles with mental health and finds pottery very soothing. Kim is very fond of our Senior Arts Hub Coordinator. “Sandra has really helped me. I used to be wild and Sandra has shown me how to settle down, take deep breaths and go for a walk when things get on top of me. She is an awesome lady and I really appreciate everything she has done for me.” Kims art also includes a stunning array of paintings and dot drawings.
