Last week, on our Men on the Go program, the men went to Piara Waters for morning tea. While sitting together, a lovely gentleman approached the group, curious to know where we were from. After staff explained to him that we were from Rise and told him about all the amazing outings and programs that we hosted at Yirra Mia, he said that he really appreciated what we did for the community and what we stood for. "I would like to buy all your coffees!" he exclaimed.
The gentleman was very kind and thoughtful and prefered to remain anonymous. One could say it was moment of serendipity four the group and the men on the go were honoured to recive such a wonderful gift from a complete stranger.
