Rise provides 24 hour supported accommodation for people with disability across Perth. We understand everybody is different and we’re keen to find out what matters to the people we support.
When someone starts living with Rise, we spend the time getting to know their individual interests and talents, fostering opportunities for socialising, engaging in volunteering opportunities, education or employment.

Rise work hard to make sure our supported accommodation houses are a place you can call home, where you can decorate your room like you want, have friends and family over while feeling comfortable and safe.
Rise has been offering supported accommodation for over 10 years and have over 20 houses across Perth. Our houses are clean, safe and well maintained by our Property Team and supported by the Work Health and Safety Coordinator. Our houses are regularly audited including checks on fire fighting equipment, infection control and personal protective equipment (PPE) and electrical appliances.
All our homes are staffed by dedicated Rise Support Workers who are trained, experienced and qualified to assist you to carry out tasks to help you live a great life, like:

Personal care (such as showering and dressing)

Making new friends

Following your interests

Finding and keeping a job

Doing cleaning and laundry (not always fun but essential)

Cooking and information about nutrition (yummy!)

Going to appointments such as Doctors or community/ sports groups

Medication assistance (such as making sure you take your medications and (if required) helping you.

When you come and live with Rise you join the Rise neighbourhood of other services we provide. These include:
- Social groups and centres across Perth
- Community outings.
- The Arts Hub - one of the only centres dedicated to arts, crafts and woodwork in Perth
- Bounce - a casual sports group run by Rise to increase physical fitness and socialisation for people in the community
You may also have funding for other services. Rise provides a range of Aged Care, Mental Health and Youth programs as well as being a Community Housing provider.
Trusting and liking your support workers is a very important component a for living a great life. At Rise, all our support workers are well experienced, qualified and dedicated.
Our workforce meets all NDIA mandatory training requirements and receive continual training to ensure they provide safe and contemporary support.
All Rise staff are supported by an on-call program that runs 24 hours a day 7 days a week who provide advice and support on the phone.
When you live with Rise, you will also have access to a designated Coordinator who is responsible for the running of your house and the management of the staff. You will also see other Senior Managers who will drop into the house and attend social events such as the Christmas Party.
There are rules about how all Rise workers and volunteers will support you and these are called the National Disability Standards. The Standards are there to make sure you are treated well and fairly, and Rise must follow these rules when you receive services from Rise including living with Rise.

At Rise, your feedback is always welcome, and you can directly contact a Manager by email anytime or by phone during 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
SIL is referred to as Assistance with Daily Living (ADL) in the NDIS Core support budget. During your NDIS planning meeting, your goals, support needs and independence will be assessed to help indicate what kind of services will be the best for you.
