If you have lived experience with mental health, enjoy learning in a group setting, and are curious about supporting others in the mental health sector, our six-week Peer Worker workshops might be for you!
Our workshops are designed as an introduction to Peer Work. They provide a safe and interactive space to explore the role, understand recovery principles, and develop skills to support others in the mental health sector. The workshops run for 6 weeks (weekly sessions). They are interactive group sessions rather than a formal course. Participants receive a certificate of participation upon completion. Workshops are not accredited and do not qualify you as a Peer Worker, but they provide insight and experience to help you decide if you’d like to pursue formal qualifications.
