Rise's Mental Health Team can support you to pursue your interests and connect with your community. Connecting with others through hobbies, social groups, or other activities can be a valuable source of emotional support, particularly during difficult times.
Join our casual sports and activity group
Rise runs a social sports group at Brown Park Community Centre. You can join a game of badminton, table tennis, bowls and much more. The group aim to promote physical activity in a fun environment. Regular physical activity has been shown to have numerous benefits for mental health, including reducing stress and anxiety, improving mood, and increasing confidence.
Bounce provides a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills, challenge oneself, and try new things. This can be especially helpful for individuals who are feeling stuck or stagnant in their lives and looking for ways to grow and expand their horizons.
