I’ve been a registered Behaviour Support Practitioner since 2021. Since 2022, I’ve also been Manager of Rise’s Behaviour Support Services and support the sector as an independent practitioner on Quality Assurance panels. My background spans Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Justice, and Disability sectors in New Zealand and Australia.

I’m passionate about delivering meaningful, collaborative behaviour support, helping practitioners bring their unique skills to their roles. My practice focuses on person-centred support, skill development, upholding human rights, and promoting positive, sustainable strategies to improve quality of life.

Outside work, I’m a partner, mum, and nanny, spending weekends with family and grandchildren — or happily lost in a good book!

I am a registered Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with over 14 years of experience in the mental health, disability and community sectors. I am passionate about people feeling respected, understood and empowered, which is why I keep each unique person I work with at the heart of my support.

By considering the many aspects of a person’s life, I believe I can better walk alongside them — understanding their journey, the challenges they may be facing, their needs and hopes, and what any behaviours of concern may be communicating about their situation. In promoting overall quality of life, I am also mindful of the importance of extending support, assistance and integrity to others who provide care and support to those in need.

I’ve been a registered Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner since early 2023 and have over three years’ experience in the NDIS, working across psychiatric care, aged care, forensic, social and community support. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Behaviour, which has deepened my understanding of human behaviour and strengthened my ability to support people living with disability in ways that build skills, foster independence and promote dignity.

Alongside my professional background, I bring lived experience and a strong commitment to advocacy, ensuring the voices of those I support are heard and their rights upheld.

I am particularly passionate about working with young adults with psychosocial disabilities — supporting them to feel valued and helping their potential to be recognised and developed in meaningful ways. My goal is to empower them to lead lives they can truly be proud of.

I'm a Provisional Psychologist and an experienced Registered Behaviour Support Practitioner. I'm passionate about supporting people with disabilities to make positive, meaningful changes in their lives. I believe everyone has a voice shaped by their life experiences, and I'm committed to working in ways that respect and reflect each person's unique journey.

I'm especially interested in neurodiversity, inclusive practice, and mental health.

When I'm not working, I love spending time with my family, going to the beach, and travelling when I can.

Growing up, I had a classmate—bright, quirky, deeply kind—who carried a quiet grief and a difference that no one ever named, though everyone sensed it. His mum, a speech pathologist, saw him clearly. But after she passed, it felt like the world stopped looking. We had an unspoken respect for each other, even as kids. And though he found success later, I’ve never forgotten how unseen he felt back then. That memory lives with me. It’s what guides my work today. I support neurodivergent children, teens, and young adults with empathy, curiosity, and a deeply person-centred lens. Whether we’re navigating big feelings, tricky transitions, or building everyday rhythms, I’m here to understand the whole person—and to walk alongside families with strategies that feel kind, clear, and doable.

I’ve been a registered Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner since 2022 and have over 18 years’ experience working in both Ireland and Australia across mental health, disability, family violence, youth services, and out-of-home care. I’m passionate about supporting people to feel heard, respected, and genuinely supported to have their hopes achieved and needs met. I bring both professional experience and personal empathy to my work, and believe real, lasting change happens through strong, authentic relationships.

One of my strengths is building therapeutic connections with people experiencing mental health challenges and supporting them on their recovery journey. I also have a special interest in working alongside people in supported accommodation to ensure they are understood—not just through the lens of their behaviour, but by exploring what that behaviour is communicating.

As a mother of two, I understand how important it is for families and carers to feel supported too. Helping others thrive is what motivates me every day.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with the family, cooking, travel and getting out in nature.
